🧸 Начальный уровень (Beginner): "The Little Snowman"

Simple vocabulary, short sentences, and basic grammar. Простая лексика, короткие предложения и базовая грамматика.

Once upon a time, there was a little snowman named Sam. Sam lived in a small village. On New Year’s Eve, Sam looked up at the sky. “I want to see fireworks!” he thought.

But Sam was too small. He could not see over the trees. His friend, a bunny, said, “Let’s find a hill!”

Sam and the bunny walked to a big hill. At the top, Sam could see the whole village.

At midnight, the sky lit up with colors. “Wow!” Sam smiled. The fireworks sparkled, and Sam was happy.

“Happy New Year, Sam!” said the bunny.

“Happy New Year!” Sam laughed.

More complex sentences, descriptive words, and moderate-length text. Более сложные предложения, больше описаний и текст средней длины.

It was New Year’s Eve, and Emma was excited. She had a present for her little brother, Max. It was a red toy car.

Emma placed the gift under the tree. But when Max came to open his presents, the red car was gone!

“Oh no!” Emma said. “Where is the present?”

She looked around the house. Behind the couch – no car. Under the table – no car.

Emma sat down. She felt sad. But then, she heard barking. It was their dog, Toby. He was in the garden, digging in the snow.

Emma ran outside. There, under the snow, was the red toy car!

“Toby! You found it!” Emma laughed.

Max hugged the toy car. “Thank you, Emma! And thank you, Toby!”

The family laughed, and the clock struck twelve. Fireworks sparkled in the sky.

It was a happy New Year after all.

The winter wind whispered through the quiet town as the clock neared midnight. Lily stood by the window, watching snowflakes dance under the streetlights.

Her family was celebrating downstairs, but Lily felt distant. This year had been difficult, and she wasn’t sure what to wish for as the New Year approached.

Suddenly, she noticed an old man outside, his coat thin and worn. Without hesitation, Lily grabbed a blanket and hurried out.

“Sir, you look cold,” she said gently, wrapping the blanket around his shoulders. The man’s eyes twinkled.

“Thank you, dear,” he replied. “What brings you outside on this cold night?”

“I… I don’t know what to wish for this year,” Lily admitted.

The man smiled. “Sometimes, the best wishes are not for ourselves, but for others.”

Lily looked up at the stars. As the clock struck twelve, she made her wish – for kindness, warmth, and love to fill the new year.

When she turned back, the man was gone, but the blanket lay neatly folded on the bench.

Lily returned inside, her heart light. This year, she knew her wish had already come true.
